NOC fibre monitoring, tower and BTS alarm response, and FTTH / FTTB rollout
Overview
At Adrian Kenya I worked in the Network Operations Centre, monitoring fibre links and responding to alarms from tower and base transmission station (BTS) sites.
I also supported FTTH and FTTB rollout work, so I saw both the monitoring side and what last-mile fibre deployment looks like on the ground.

- Monitored fibre network links from the NOC
- Responded to tower and BTS alarm escalations

- Faster alarm turnaround by sticking to the escalation procedures
